Innovative Way To Advertise New Business - Liberty Income Tax - Ozark Real Estate    Every morning for the past few weeks, on my way to work I seen a very enthusiastic "Mr Liberty" waving and smiling to all the traffic as they pass. Ozark Missouri Real Estate Market Statistics Jan 2010 Absorption rates give a good idea of the supply and demand of homes by price range and neighborhood. The best selling price ranges for January were $100,000 to $140,000. Absorption rates could not be calculated for price ranges with no sales this month. Real estate absorption rates in Ozark continue to vary widely by price range. Values above 26 weeks supply indicate a buyers market while below 26 weeks indicate a sellers market. There are still too many foreclosures in Christian County Missouri, but the good news is that there were less in 2009 than in 2008. Christian County had 189 foreclosure filings in 2009 which 29 percent less than the 269 filed in 2008. This is compared to only 20 in 2007 and 11 in 2006. Most of these foreclosures were in Ozark and Nixa. The flip-side to this story is that foreclosures, which are bad for sellers (banks that now own the properties) can be a good deal for buyers. There are still some great deals out there. Opinions differ about whether or not the trend towards decreased foreclosures will continue in 2010 or if there is a "shadow" inventory of foreclosures yet to hit the market. I woke early up this morning to the beautiful Wolf Moon over Ozark. I've heard it called that because its the biggest and brightest full moon of the year and Native Americans thought wolves howled at the full moon. It was so pretty shining over the fresh snow and against the trees.

Yesterday in Ozark Missouri we had a lot of snow!  I haven't heard the official total yet  but I bet we got at least 7 or 8 inches of snow. I drove to Springfield for the HBA Home Show, went to some appointments, stopped by Keller Williams,  and back home with no slipping or sliding.  Then, right in front of my house I decided to swing over and get the mail before turning up our drive.  The next thing I knew I was in the ditch, on top of the mail box.  My SUV with 4WD was no help! I had two wheels too far off the pavement. The way my vehicle was stuck there was no way anyone could push me out. I swallowed my pride and called our auto insurance which includes tow service. A few minutes later they had it pulled out and I was back on my way! I am thankful I wasn't out in the middle of now...

Today is a snowy day in Ozark Missouri. Its a beautiful sight to see it falling in the trees. We are very thankful for the snow instead of the ice storms we have had the past few years. This afternoon it will be nice to just relax and watch the snow. I'm sure the kids will enjoy playing and sledding. The snow will probably be with us for awhile since we are supposed to get more this week and the temperatures are going to be around zero!

Today wast the annual Ozark Mtn Barnstormers Polar Bear Fly! The weather cooperated nicely with sunny skies, very little wind and temperatures around 30 degrees. Everyone stayed warm with a nice fire and plenty of chili and hot chocolate. We had at least a dozen flyers out to celebrate the new year. Calvin managed to get in the first flight of the year, and unfortunately Joe had the first crash! Spectators are always welcome to come visit to the flying field any time the gate is open. The field is located on Cheyenne Road between Ozark and Nixa. Ozark Mtn Barnstormers Oh the humanity!
