A not so Wordless Wednesday....... I am glad this snow is over.  OK Jesse, I know that this is NOTHING like you would get way up north but, this 6 inches is just tooooooooo much for this old man.  I've got pains in places that I didn't even know I had places. I asked myself this question the other day when gas prices jumped up 10 cents/gallon in O'Fallon, Missouri. This morning, while listening to the radio, the broadcaster asked the same question and then gave us the answer. Are you ready for this...?  Here is is: Gas prices went up because the big guys in charge are "thinking about" lowering production.  Did you get that?  "thinking about"! Chef Lauren is Returning to Vintners Cellar in O'Fallon Mo........ Last year we enjoyed some really good times of wine tasting and some really nice and easy food items presented by Chef Lauren and Vintners Cellar in O'Fallon MO.  I was hoping that Regina & Lee Ruppert, owners, would do this again in 2009.  And sure enough they are bringing Chef Lauren back.  These are a whole lot of fun and fill up fast so do not forget to get your reservations in early! So, What Happened With The St. Charles County Missouri Real Estate Market in 2008? This is a question that was asked throughout 2008 on a daily basis; and will quite possibly be asked in 2009.  Here is a 2008 overview of the market in St Charles County MO. At the start of 2008 we had approximately 14 months of housing inventory in St. Charles County.  At the end of December 2008 we had approximately 11 months of housing inventory.  So we are seeing downward movement in our housing supply.  However, there is still a good supply of housing in all price ranges and styles.  The average days on market are currently at 91 days for single family homes and 109 days for the condo/villa lifestyle.  At the end of 2007 the days on market for single family homes were 80 and for the condo/villa lifes...

Have you ever received or even sent out a card like this? Wow, is it New Years already? Where did the time go? So much has happened this year in the real estate market. So much has changed. Once you've settled in to the New Year, brush off the confetti and give us a call.................... Chances are we all have at one time or another, I know that I have. It seems though the older I get the faster time flies.  I wonder why that is?  We are all given the same number of day in a week or even a year.  For the sake of argument, that is 7 days in a week and 365 days in a year.  Each one of the days has 24 hours and we have already used up one of the days in this New Year.  2008 was Leap Year plus a leap second, I'm not sure about you but I am not sure with the added day and the leap second...
