I am not much of a writer so blogging isn't a strong point for me. But, I am feeling great and just feel I want to extend a Thanksgiving wish to all. I ask but one thing and that is to be careful in your travels and with the cold weather, watch the kiddies on newly frozen waters. Be Safe!

WE went to the county Fair in Pine City, Mn. this evening. Took the 5 year old Grand Daughter. We had a great time. Made one mistake...NO CAMERA. WE hhit all the kiddie rides and there were smiles on most all the kids. WE played a few of the rigged games and came away with a couple of stuff toys. All in all, I think I may have had more fun the the kids.     The fair goes on until Sunday.

Those of you who filed for an extension of this years returns...the time is near. You have about 3 weeks to get filed and calanders are starting to fill up. Step one is to call your tax preparer and set up an appointment.  That gives you a deadline. If you wait and do it tomorrow...Well, tomorrow never comes and then it is to late.

I posted this photo a few years back.  Just amazing how some people fix things. Now I am showing this as one of my listings. There is an interested party. The home inspector will be there tomorrow. Is he in for a surprise.  Yes, those are old fashioned screw jacks under each of the posts.   i also have a contractor coming to give a bid on fixing this...or to tell us to tear it down.

I am working 18+ hours a day trying to keep up with doing taxes before the deadline. Callers are getting upset because I tell them I can't be sure I can get them done at this point. I know I am not the only one at this point like that. 4 more days and I will take a break for at least a couple of days. On the 15th, I will be doing extensions, but only if I have your information by the 14th.

Said it before, but tax day is only 8 days away. It has been a busy year. Many people have taken my advice and filed extensions early. Time is running out and myself and others only have so much time to work. If you have not called for an appointment...do it NOW! Penalties and interest will kill you.

You have just a month to file your taxes. Accountants get real busy this time of the year. But, there is a whole group that will wait until the end to file an extension. If you know you are going to  need an extension...do it now! Get it out of the way while we have enough time to work on them. Postman is coming down the road is NOT enough time to get the extension ready.

I have been hearing about a new Movie about Noah. Have not seen any of the trailers yet, but friends who have are not impressed. But it did make me thing about this cartoon I saw a long time ago. With all the complaining about the weather and such I thought a smile to start the day was in order.

While we don't know all the implications of the new law, we do know that there will be some. Especially for higher wage earners. But low wage earners need to be watchful also. You need to get informed NOW so you are ready for next year.\ Talk to a Tax Professional soon and don't be caught in the dark.

If you need or want your refund fast, it is time to get your taxes made out. Calls are coming in fastand I have been busy already. Also, the more refunds that get filed the slower it will be for you to receive your refund. Don't wait!  Make your appointment now!

Yes, there is a lot of snow out there. But, no leaves. For hunters, now is a great time to see the Deer activity and other wildlife by the trails. No leaves let's you see the terrain and the high and low areas. Call for permission to walk the land.  Strap on the snow shoes and explore.  Some sellers will allow you to use your snowmobile or ATV's, but ask permission first. It is never to early to start planning your purchase.
