House lots in Maine for sale means land needed for a home. Either recreational camp like, or say a Maine waterfront vacation place that is basic, simple. But sometimes the full time home site land lot means building a full time Maine home. Something pretty substantial. Because all the life of the buyer, the homes or houses have been undo, redo, make do. Someone elses idea of ideal. That was not. So much emphasis in real estate in many markets is existing house, home and maybe condos, apartments, cooperatives. Just residential structures, sticks and bricks.  But not just land, a small parcel of property for building a home, house. Or to use for just setting a fifth wheeler on, camper, tent. Simple investment on the small side of just a plot of land for a home or house. Is that what you ...

Channel surfing, happens to real estate blog posters except no TV wand held high, waved to see what's good on to graze, digest, feed on. What's playing on your other channels, the other platforms you blog on to achieve different purposes? One of the media streams we harness, direct, hunt and pecked on today points out the number one event most real estate agents, brokers, REALTORS try to avoid. That makes us squirm, uncomfortable. But on another blogging channel espousing the merits of living, growing up in a small rural Maine town is debated. Flushed out when electronic pen put to cyber paper. Using only recycled, second hand electrons. Where no trees or individuals harmed in the latest blog post on the Me In Maine Wordpress installment. On the Own Maine Real Estate blog post, admiring...

Eavesdropping, maybe you don't like to have to do it at the Piggly Wiggly check out with the person in front and behind you on a cell phone but real estate callers may be different. See if you can relate to the Florida Maine real estate buyer who was originally from Massachusetts that called our office this morning. Sold lock, stock and barrel to get out of Boston, to get to Naples, Florida. Then sold out there and moved up to Port Charlotte. But now in retirement misses the four seasons, wants it not to be so hot hot hot in summers so Maine is looking pretty attractive. Where in Florida he is racing to this air conditioned car, to house, to shopping and making him feel like he and his wife are living in a grocery store meat cooler. Too hot and wants to buy more, larger Maine land, hav...

Empty village settings for a movie and other than when it is lights, camera, action, the  back lot studio real estate properties  sit, wait, decay. Until the next movie. Your marketing movie is like the real estate buyer's life. If you just present the four walls, sticks and bricks in your real estate marketing, lots is left out. The person who is going to buy the property listing needs to see themselves owning the place. Before they do. Before they settle in and buy. So the approach, the marketing signal needs to have the benefits of the investment before it is made. What the location means for fun things to do around this key spot the property listing is planted in. Or how this address is going to save time, gas. Improve the quality of life. Plus leave the mini van parked more in the...

The words and expressions  Maine real estate agents, brokers, REALTORS rattle off are many, varied, definitely colorful. But tried and tested life lessons learned wearing the "R", the hardest working letter in the entire alphabet make the lingo foreign to someone not in the habit of being around the listing, selling real estate in Maine process. To provide a map, direction, guidance in the Maine real estate process.  Like in any fast moving, ever changing industry today, on line, the print and on air, cable news means property buyers and sellers are pummeled with Maine real estate jargon. All around them being bombarded with predictions, opinions that may not actually represent the way we roll in Maine real estate wise. Every national real estate market is so different. Just like one U...

Only a few times like a solar, lunar eclipse does it happen, the Active Rain blogging million points plateau is in sight, about to be reached. Like when you are heading down the road in your car, truck, SUV and you notice mileage numbers like a Vegas one arm bandit row of tumblers line up into something neat. The Active Rain points are not the primary purpose and a secondary gain for the primary thrust to provide search engine friendly, real estate buyer and seller popular topic coverage. For Maine real estate property listings. And lots of local splash, small town Maine community exposure on line. That all need continual fresh content updating of copy, imagery, videos, maps, the works. Because the real estate industry like any other is fast moving, ever changing. New and exciting if th...

Getting a deal, a better than fair trade on Maine real estate is a given. The Maine property listing prices are always low. Not just on Black Friday or hit or miss, now and then. Why? (Sound of large map being pulled down from dusty overhead projector screen). Here is Maine (tap tap on the northerast corner of the country) and because Vacationland is a tad off the beaten path... The further north you go, ta da, lower and lower pricing on Maine real estate happens. Over and over. With kid in a candy store abandon, cherry on the top of every Maine property listing. One of the most frequently asked Maine real estate questions is, here it comes "is something wrong with these prices?" When they see a Patten Maine home for sale for $23,500. Or 103 acres of Maine land for in the $40's. What g...
