  Thai Orient in Owings Mills, Maryland This is one of our favorite restaurants located in the "Pink Shopping Center" in Owings Mills. We go during the week, we go at off hours, we go for lunch or we go for dinner. Whenever we go, we are always treated with the the same warm welcome. Right away we are seated and brought a fresh cabbage salad to start and, of course, the fried won-tons with sweet sauce and hot mustard. I would hope we make our clients feel as welcome!              There is plenty of space in this well appointed restaurant. It is a perfect place to go with a friend or client. Found a new place to sign a contract offer... Cosi in Owings Mills. A few years ago I wrote  unusual places that contracts have been signed.  Yesterday, after showing a property, we wanted to go somewhere to get a drink and discuss the offer. That place turned out to be Cosi, right in Owings Mills and quite close to the subject property. We both got a soda and began the contract offer review...that was about 4:00PM.  The place was not crowded at that time..we had a high table with a window view and the process of review, explaining and making changes took a bit of time. After all there was a total of 36 pages and 56 paragraphs on the first nine pages.  How long does that take?   Settlements don't have to be in a boring Title or real estate office. We proved that tonight. A very happy closing was held at my seller's residence...an assisted living facility in Owings Mills, MD. We were given a lovely private room and thank goodness he left his reading glasses in his apartment. This was the perfect excuse to see his wonderful art collection. What's so terrific about this collection? Everything was handcrafted by my seller, Jerry Scherr,  an extremely talented and prolific artist. A former jeweler and watch maker, many of his items had some form of a timepiece incorporated.  There were paintings, and portraits, and sculptures, and glass wall hangings, and lamps and dreidels and menorahs... just so much eye candy.
