 got to stay at Sunset Beach Condominiums in Ocean City, Maryland last week and here's a brief review of my experience in "OC" and with Sunset Beach. We found the location of Sunset Beach Condos at 47th Street in Ocean City MD to be fairly ideal,  The address is 4603 Coastal Highway, Ocean City MD if you're interested...We rented unit 208 which is owned by a client of mine who bought it this year.   One thing you learn to love are the sunrises over the ocean, only a block away across Coastal Highway.  I walked over each morning, either to do a "dawn patrol" surf session or just hang out with my coffee: We managed to have breakfasts at the condominium, which features a beautiful kitchen: For our evening meals we hit several local joints, including Anthony's Take Out, Pino's Pizza, Mother... 09/17/2010

Well we dodged a bullet here in Ocean City Maryland as powerful Hurricane Earl decided to go out to sea just in time. I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the lack luster of the storm, as we really did not receive any winds or measurable rainfall. Really amazing when you consider the media hype leading up to the storm. All and all we are very, very, lucky as things could have turned out much worse! The effects we did receive from our friend Earl, was some great wave activity, which the local surfers loved. Here is a quick video from The Eve of Hurricane Earl. My family and I were vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland.  For the first four days the weather was beautiful although the waves were a bit rough at times and the lifegaurds would ask people to get out of the water. Yes it is hurricane season, and there was talk of Earl Heading up the East Coast.  Having survived many hurricanes I know these are not fun. Our condo was facing the ocean, and we enjoyed the view, getting lovely shots of the sunrise and eating on the balcony while enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Hurricane Earl was on our minds, so we kept checking the internet and listening to the news reports.  After weighing the pros and cons we decided to leave today.  if the hurricane threatened the area then getting out of Ocean City at the last moment would not be feasible.
