The following report is for August and the statistics are compared with the same month last year. During the month, there were 66 new listings and 49 pending contracts. The sold dollar volume was down 41.88% from last year. The number of homes sold was down to 39 from 49 last year. The average days on the market was up to 97 days which is close to the figure for the county.  The average sale price was 90.3% of the average list price. MONTGOMERY VILLAGE REAL ESTATE ACTIVITY   The bad news about residential real estate in Montgomery Village is the large numbers of foreclosures and the resulting lender owned homes.
