1560 Bluemount Rd 21111      This chair, above, is in one of my favorite properties. When I pulled it to sit down, I noticed the small house. Of course I took a picture and enlarged it. Wow! The small house was painted by an artist and it is almost like a photograph except it is a painting. My wonderful owners told me they bought the chair for a dollar and their friend did the painting.  The Sun Was Going Down Just Like My Tire But I was focused on getting my favorite property, 1560 Blue Mount Road , seen by prospective buyers. I wanted to get into the river cottage before we ran out of daylight.  After the tour of the main home and a hike to the river cottage, I shared with my sellers that I had a bit of problem...yep, I had a flat.   My wonderful seller, produced this marvelous gadget.  He hooked  the little inflating machine to my tire and within a very short time, my tire pressure was over 45psi. A little more than needed but it did get me home and safely in my garage. And yes the tire is flat again but this time I will call my mechanic to come fix it, not just fill it.   03/08/2016

A View From The River CottageTalk about sheer beauty...take a look at a few photos taken yesterday while hiking on the NCR trail to the river cottage.  There was even one lady and her dog cross county skiiing. She mentioned it was much easier to ski than to walk. A Spring Board For Your Listings  Rich wrote a post Not just another dumping ground.  I have a different take on this subject. I will always post my listings on AR and use them as a spring board. The listings can then be linked to the neighborhood,  area attractions,  local restaurants and events. It is a great way to give our listings exposure. Answer Your Phone It Might Be A Reporter   This may happen WHEN you answer your phone...even if the number is not familiar. It happened yesterday morning  around 10:30. In the middle of a very busy home inspection, my phone rang and it was a reporter wanting to do an online article about my 1560 Blue Mount Rd property in Monkton.  There was a 12 noon deadline. GPS Does Not Always Work      With a showing on my gorgeous property at 1560 Blue Mount Road 21111 in Monkton, I had a call from the showing agent that her GPS would not take the address. No problem...I would read her the directions from mine.  But then ( after having my car in the shop this past week) I realized that  my GPS had been cleared of all  prior addresses.  I pulled off the road and  programed  1560 Blue Mount into my GPS. At the same time using Google Maps,  I got the directions, took a screen shot and messaged them to the buyer's agent.  Easy peasy.   It took only a minute. No time was lost since I was already on my way and the other agent got the directions without having to write them down.
