Today’ View – November 10, 2011 –  Rossmoor sales trends.   As I reported in a previous post (Progress) in July 2011, sales in the senior citizens community of Rossmoor in Silver Spring, Md. were looking up. In July, homes sold year to date and those under some form of contract exceeded half the total for 2010.   Well, I am happy to say as of November 10, 2011, the successfully completed transactions in the community are clearly going to better that mark.  The transactions for all of 2010, based on MLS statistics were 280 homes sold in the community.  The same source shows 276 sold since the first of this year and 21 more under some form of contract with closing dates scheduled before the end of the year.  This brings the total to 297.   An additional 26 are under contact without a sche... 11/10/2011
