Aha, you hear the name Laurel and most people conjur up a vision of Laurel Race Track. Others will be reminded of the largest one-day street festival in the State.  After all, the Main Street festival is the place to be the Saturday before Mother's Day. This little town is minutes from I-95 to the east and a few miles to Ft. George Meade, to the west. I have enjoyed both venues. You can drive up and down Route One and enjoy shopping and dining. Did you know that Laurel, MD houses the world's largest ice cream faciltiy?   or I should say ice cream campus because it covers more than 14 football fields of real estate. Howard county agreed to defer $1 million in property taxes for four years and invested $1 million in road access and infrastructure improvements.  The State of Maryland ponied up by granting $1.6 million if Dreyer's employed 515 hourly workers by Dec. 2007 as well as invested $183 million in the plant.  They have exceeded that target with 725 and are looking 240 additional workers.  Dreyer's built the plant with expansion in mind if needed.  They plan to invest an additional $30 million into the facility this year.Needless to say, Howard County loves Edy's and so do you!   KEEP EATING ICE CREAM you hear!Howard Count... 09/27/2007

I have been in Real Estate a short time now but in sales a long time. I can not stress how important it is to be organized! We deal with a lot of papers and forms everyday, know who is who is very important. As an agent you should be able to place a finger on your client and know that client at any given moment. I actually took the time to prepare 10 folders 5 for buyers and 5 for sellers. Each folder contains all of the forms and documentation the buyer or seller needs with the first meeting. I make sure each folder has a client profile sheet, the buyer/seller agreement and any other important documents they may need.
