The Annual Bike Parade will be held on July 5th this year instead of the 4th. Join soprano Cathy Teixeira, hornist Bill Burns and pianist Frank Conlon for an afternoon recital at 3:00 PM on June 13th in the Sanctuary at Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church, 10123 Connecticut Avenue, Kensington.  Ms. Teixeira and Mr. Burns will perform two hauntingly beautiful pieces for soprano and horn, Auf Dem Strom by Schubert and the Washington area premiere of Dirti Addio by Donizetti.  In addition, Ms. Teixeira will perform  pieces by Debussy, Fauré, Gordon and Sondheim.  Mr. Burns will also perform pieces by Koepke, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, and Saint Saëns.  Mr. Conlon will play a piece by Scriabin for left hand only and a Chopin Polonaise.
