Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County, Maryland - Market Update for the Week Ending November 28, 2009 The Anne Arundel County real estate market is still seeing a welcome increase in sales and settlements over the past weeks, the sales are edging higher.  Interest rates are still low.  The home sales still aren't as swift as we would like to see, however, they are remaining fairly stable.  The number of new listings has declined steadily over the past few weeks and we are seeing a slight increase in the number of homes going under contract and settling.  Home prices are also remaining fairly stable as we move into the Thanksgiving Season.  Now that fall is here to stay we'll see another spurt in activity before the winter hibernation.  I'm surprised I'm not seeing more new home buyers making... 12/20/2009

I had the pleasure of picking up my lunch at Union Cugini this week.  Union Cugini is located at 14 Crain Hwy North right across the street from my office.  The restaurant is in the old Boardwalk Fries location in the heart of downtown Glen Burnie near the intersection of Crain Hwy and  Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.  It is conveniently located near Anne Arundel Community College and nearby businesses.  For small offices like mine you can call your order in and then pick it up.  Just call 410-590-3992 and place your order.  We had cheese steak sub sandwiches, fries and a drink.  I'm really fussy about my fries, I like them crispy on the outside and fluffy cooked on the inside and their fries are perfect and tasty and not drowning in salt and grease.  And, the price was right.  One of my agen... 12/05/2009

Toys for Tots Drive The days are certainly getting cooler and it hardly seems like the summer is over.  However, it is the middle of October and Christmas is just around the corner.  Advance Realty Anne Arundel Inc is proud to support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive again this year.  A drop box has been placed in our lobby and we will accept all donations of new, unused and unwrapped toys.  Times are tough and this year the need for donations is even larger than before.  It doesn't cost that much to pick up a few items for a needy child.  The day our box was delivered I went to the local Ollie's store and picked up three items:  a board game, a princess dress up kit in it's own travel bag and a set of toy cars.  I spent less than $20.  Last year we filled 3 big boxes for the toy dr... 10/19/2009
