Days of RemembranceDays of Remembrance is an annual eight-day period designated by the United States Congress to help citizens remember and draw lessons from the Holocaust. At the April 21 Mayor and City Council Meeting, Mayor Jud Ashman and Council Member Neil Harris presented the proclamation designating April 20 through 27 as “Days of Remembrance” in memory of the victims of the Holocaust and in honor of the survivors, rescuers, and liberators. We call on all of Gaithersburg to join us in promoting human dignity and confronting hate whenever and wherever it occurs.This is a City of Gaithersburg, Maryland announcement.
