              The Rotary Club of Westwood was organized in 1960 and chartered by Rotary International on November 18, 1960. The Club had 23 charter members, two of whom, Walter R. Leslie and Roger Killelea, are still living. The catalyst for the organization of the club was its first president, Westwood resident John (Jack) Alcott.
