What makes this fall festival in West Boylstonso unique is the enourmous number of scare crows that line the center of town.  We're talking rows of scarecrows.  And they are all different.  How fun it is just to drive through the town and see all the cool decorations?! 365 things to do in Worcester County - Wachusett Reservoir in West Boylston - This is a great place for a pic nic lunch or a fishing excursion.  The Wachusett Reservoir is approximately 8,000 acres of water and woods, maintained by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, offer tremendous hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and wildlife watching. Wachusett Reservoir was created in 1895 to solve the water needs of the greater Boston area. Today, the reservoir still supplies water to Boston (with the help of Quabbin Reservoir), but it also serves as an important wildlife reservation.
