Not Necessarily.......Sorry to be so non-committal but it is true.  I have been fortunate in representing sellers who not only have lovely homes but they have good taste.  These sellers do not need a Stager.  Your Realtor may have some minor suggestions which can make a home marketable from a buyer's view.I have also represented Sellers whose homes needed so much work that the best approach was to have them get the house clean but it would be too expensive and not practical to spend major resources.  Often times these homes are marketed "as is".  The price will reflect the condition.With a home which is empty I have found spending money on a Stager is worth while.  It will give a buyer a better sense of how the rooms can be used.  Sometimes buyers have difficulty visualizing an empty ho... 10/11/2007

Last week I did an analysis of the current Natick Real Estate Market.  One of the items on that analysis was the number of Active Single Family homes on the market in Natick.  The number was 126. So I thought it would be interesting to take a look at what that number was a year ago....are you ready?  It was 173.  That is a signifigant reduction in inventory.As I recall from prior to 2006 the average inventory of single family homes in Natick was around 100.  This is good news for sellers....less competition. But it is indicating that while we are not in a Sellers's market, the Buyer's Market is winding down.  Maybe it means a more "normal" market where homes sell but not in the frenzie of earlier years.  This gives buyers a chance to take more time in making a decision.  I think a big f... 10/08/2007
