The town of Milton has received five proposals for improving Governor Stoughton's property.  A vote will be taken on June 15.  Town records show that the five proposals came from: Frank Mulligan, as manager of the Governor Stoughton Land Preservation LLC; Boston-based Weston Associates; Westborough-based Pulte Homes of New England LLC; Boston-based The Community Builders Inc.; and Milton's Copeland Family Foundation.  The proposals have not been disclosed. For years, this property has been underutilized. Now Milton has an opportunity to decide on a use that will really be beneficial to the town.  I'll keep you posted on the results.  Melissa A. Another Milton MA Buyer Under Agreement At the end of May I read Barbara Todaro's post about how  a pending sale can engergize the market.  I've seen Barbara and others post when their listings go under agreement but never thought much about blogging about it myself as a buyers agent - I usually waited & tweeted about it when it closed.  But I thought about it, and of course, Barbara is right! Milton, MA 02186 May 2011 Single Family Market Report. Traditionally this is a busy time for real estate and this year is no exception. Ambassador was added to my title here on Active Rain in April.  I was also named "Agent of the Month" for RE/MAX New England.  Six months is way to soon to be awarded any such designation if it is also based in real estate activity.  8 Listings in the first 6 months, one of them is under a purchase and sale agreement, one is rented both deals completed within two weeks of going on the market.  The rental was above market rental, and the sale was 98% of value List to Sale Price.
