  As I work across Cape Cod with homes for sale and listing real estate for clients, it’s hard to disagree that most roads and thoroughfares are indeed clogged.   Everyone talks about solutions ranging from a third bridge, a tunnel or providing for easier access via bus or bicycle. Well, early last week transportation officials announced they will re-open the Boston-to-Hyannis passenger train service. The Hyannis, MA Marathon - 26.2 Miles - How Long Can I Wear The Medal? Way back in November I was out for a friendly jog with my best friends Amy and Erica when the "M-word" was somewhat casually mentioned.  Amy said, "I'm kinda thinking about a winter Marathon".   What?  No way.  Been there, done that...x4.  I'm out.   But...I'm a Type-A.  I mulled it over for a while, didn't mention it to anyone.  Was I up for it? I never knew who Harry was, but it didn't matter one bit.  Harry's is, or more accurately today, was a bar, tucked away on Main Street in Hyannis, Massachusetts.  Down Cape Cod Way.  Harry's was my favorite bar on earth. When I was 27 or so and going through a "young life" crisis after breaking off a long engagement, I left work on a Friday and on a whim drove down to Hyannis from my place in the North Shore area of Massachusetts, about a two hour drive.  I checked into a small motel on Main Street that Friday evening and slept.  Saturday I spent walking about the town(a quieter and quainter place than it is today) and the beach and on Saturday evening, thinking that a drink would do me good, I strolled into Harry's.  They played albums all the way through on the sound system then when ... 09/07/2010

On November 18 of this year, the Baybridge Clubhouse is holding a Pasta Diner as a fundraiser. It will be held at the Federated Church on Main Street in Hyannis. The address of the Federated Church is 320 Main Street. The cost of the dinner is $8 per person or $15 for two people. There are two serving times. The lunch time service runs from 11 AM to 1 PM, and they will even deliver if you'd like. The dinner service will be from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, dine in only. I have dined at a past Baybridge Clubhouse Pasta Dinner, and I was pleased with the food and the service. Baybridge Clubhouse is operated by the May Institute, and is primarily funded by the MA Department Of Mental Health.
