As some of you know, Hingham, MA yesterday approved an additional tax that will add on a three-quarters of a percentage point to the meal tax. After much discussion, the tax boost was approved by 37 votes out of 1,059 cast at town meeting.  This promises to bring in some much needed revenue to the town.  04/28/2010
