Slidell Athletic Club; 1311 Gause Blvd, Slidell, LA 70458 (985)649-7357 For those of you relocating to the Slidell, LA area, or if your just looking for a new gym I wanted to pass along some information about where I work out. I've been a member of Slidell Athletic Club since 2005.  Its a fantastic place to work out. Its one of the leaset expensive gyms in Slidell and one of the largest.  It has over 52,000 square feet of health and fitness equipment, an indoor and outdoor pool, the largest cardio area on the northshore and tons classes.  The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgable and they offer child care.  Its centrally located in the middle of Slidell on Gause Blvd.  Right now they are running a special for $1.00 enrollment until when I don't know.  I'm attaching a link ...

Samurai Sushi- Slidell, LA Just wanted to through out a quick recommendation.  Anyone new to Slidell, LA area and looking for a great place for lunch or dinner I would recommend Samurai Sushi.  The entrees range between $10.00 and $15.00.  The food is fresh and the service is great!  Samurai has a great lunch special as well...  The lunch combo is two rolls and a soup or salad for $7.95.  It quick and inexpensive.  They are located at 3769 Pontchartrain Dr in Slidell, LA.  The phone number is (985)847-2909.  I'm also attaching a copy of there menu.
