Mississippi River TrafficGreat Walk and WatchFrench Quarter Walk       Having a second home in New Orleans wether you are in the French Quarter, Warehouse District, or Marigny the Mississippi River Walk is always a place to look and listen to the Mississippi River. The River is like a slowing moving highway of water moving through the town. Heading to the Gulf which is 3-4 hours away on a ship.     Each ship, river boat or ferry always has a story behind it. One of the many sights worth seeing when you come to New Orleans.   Creole Queen is a party boat and tourist attraction...Take the "Thomas Jefferson" Ferry to AlgiersNew Orleans is a Busy Port with plenty of freighters going by..Take the Natchez down river to Chalmette Battle Field, War of 1812The Freighter and the Algiers Ferry Pas...

Easy lot parking if you are driving by.       I stop by with clients and other agents that I know who have never been there. It is always a pleasure to look around and hard not to buy something. The Historic French Market  New Orleans French QuarterThe Open Floor Plan for VendorsTake a Walk to View the Variety of Things      The French Market in New Orleans has been open since 1791. The place has changed over the years. It was once food, seafood, vegtables, fruits and meats. An out door market. When I was in high school it was like a farmers market. Remember the $2 Watermelons with plenty of trucks full.        Now it is full of local vendors that pick things they want to sell along with food places. All the vendors pick up and leave when they close each evening. Such a big variety of items and tables. They always change with time.        Having a second home in the French Quarter or adjacent areas this is always a great place to visit. Easy to get here from the Warehouse District...

Views, Light and WindowsAdd Value to Your Condo      It is never all just about the square footage when you figure out the value of a home or condo in the French Quarter, Marigny or Bywater. Buyers like great views when they are looking for a property. Natural Light brightens up the place. Not every unit is going to have street views. Courtyard views add value too. Gives you the weather notice close to your condo.      Buyers like windows to courtyards and to streets. Balconies offer windows to courtyards and streets. The Balcony views add even more value. Views do Matter....Eric

New Orleans Warehouse DistrictMarch 15-May 17, 2017    Wednesday at the Square, sponsored by the Young Leadership Council of New Orleans, is a series of free outdoor concerts by well-known New Orleans and Louisiana artists that will liven up your spirits and maybe even get you into a dancing mood.     Lafayette Square is a Streetcar ride from most areas of town since it borders St. Charles Avenue. It is an easy walk from the French Quarter and all areas of the New Orleans Warehouse District. I always see past clients of mine coming to listen, drink and eat. Many are second homers who come to enjoy a variety of good times.    The concerts are free and you pay indirectly through buying food and drinks. Bywater Homes in NOLAHomes of ArtistColorful Historic Homes       The Bywater is a neighborhood that has drastically changed over the last 30 years. So many colorful home, colorful walks anf fun things to do.  The vast majority of homes have been redone and updated in a histori neighborhood near the Mississippi River. They have to follow the historic rules and regulations of the neighborhood.         You have some great homes and residents that love to decorate their homes each season. You also have a lot of businesses also decorate and make their places so colorful. This house below is on 3405 Royal Street in New Orleans. I drive by this home each time I go to "The Joint" to eat pulled pork and ribs. "3405 Royal Street is always Artistic"

Mardi Gras Decorations and ParadesGreat Second Homers Have "Fun and Desires"New Orleans Condos as Second Homes      The vast majority of second homers buy New Orleans Condos as a place for their family and relatives to stay. Most of the buyers would buy in the French Quarter before 2000. There was a few places Uptown and in the Warehouse District. Now there are plenty of places adjacent from the French Quarter Condo Market. The Marigny, Treme and Bywater neighborhoods have become more popular now. There are also a lot of people that like to live on St. Charles and near St. Charles. Plenty of places to visit and you can take the streetcar to so many places.      There are a lot of newer condo conversions in all these areas. The Warehouse District has many conversions and quite a few new ...

World War I MonumentCommerating Ninth Ward Residents3800 Block of Burgundy Street       The Monument was erected in 1919 to honor the residents of the Ninth Ward that took park in World War I. There were 1231 men and one woman named on the monument. The monument was initially constructed in the middle of Macarty Park.        The Monument was moved to edge of Burgundy Street in 1951 so that the playground at Francis T. Nicholls High School could be enlarged. Kids needed a place to play during physical education class. This is where I went to high school so remembering seeing it everyday for 3 years but knew little about the Monument.      I find few people know about the Monument that live in New Orleans so it is good to bring it to people attention. Hard to believe it has been there for...

This really helps buyers and many will use the things you write doown for them. I give it to them and talk about the purches. I also tell them about the companies that are great to use.I make many more fliers. These are the ones I told him to start with.
