Calvert Crossing is one of the nicest golf courses around, and one of the best places to live in Ouachita  Parish. So, what's going on with the housing market there?  I wish I could say that it's booming, but since the beginning of 2010, ZERO houses have sold in Calvert. As of June 7, there are 7 homes on the market ranging in price from $310,000 to $489,000.  Days on the market is an average 125 with one house having been on the market for 378 days. Three houses sold in Calvert during 2009 with the average days on the market at 117. If you're thinking of selling your home in Calvert Crossing, my advice is to price it very aggressively or you may be staying there longer than you anticipated. It all depends on your motivation.
