Well according to my desktop countdown clock there are 21 day until the deadline for being under contract.  Closing will be another issue.  I already have clients calling me with comments about how their lender is not being responsive and betting back to them in a timely manor. I have heard many say the stimulus hasn't really done anything for the housing market; I guess we will see in May.  It has made a difference with the group I work with; first time home buyers. I enjoy first time home buyers and guiding them through this process.  I had the opportunity to make some long term clients in this market that will be ready to move up in the next 3-5 years. If your ready to make the jump to home ownership, call, email, text, tweet or visit the website and find yourself a little slice of L...

As we are all navigating through the currents of the "mortgage crisis" it is essential that we keep up to date on loan opportunities.  One of my first conversations with a seasoned Realtor revolved around the FHA loan.  He said, "oh you don't want to deal with those, too much trouble"  Well I have found that not to be the case.  It has offered my clients a chance to get into a home with none of their own money down through down payment assistance.  A really good sight to review is www.kyhousing.org

I love Sunday Mornings!!!  I spent the morning at the Highlands Coffee shops on Bardstown Road in Louisville.  As I sat watching folks come in, place their orders and leave I couldnt help but wonder what each of them do for a living?? Also if they are happy in what they are doing?? Life is so very short that as I grow older I keep thinking about the folks I help purchase new homes.  It is such an honor to be in the profession we are in.  Our clients will build memories and entire families in the homes we help them purchase.  I am proud of that fact.

One of the primary reasons I signed with my current Broker was his attitude.  He seemed to love what he is doing.  He just seems happy  You know I believe that is the secret to his success.  He loves what he is doing and it shows.  Although I am new to residential real estate my goal is to have an attitude that others want to emulate.  It doesnt matter what we are doing, talking with a perspective client or petting our dog on the front porch.  It all is so much better when we have a good attitude.  And truly life is about creating those special moments.  I challenge everyone to find someone to emulate and be sure that attitude is on the top of the pro's list.
