A FALLEN LOCAL HERO - R. I. P. Tomorrow at ten o'clock in the morning, a young American soldier, United States Air Force Senior Airman Bradley Smith, will be buried in Troy, Illinois.  He was one of the casualties in a bombing in Kandahar, Afghanistan last January 3, 2010. Yesterday afternoon, his remains were flown in to Scott Air Force Base.  From there, a motorcade passed through Troy, Illinois-- his hometown, to Irwin Chapel, in Glen Carbon.  Hours before the motorcade more than 100 local volunteers planted American flags along Main Street, a business district in Troy.
