The Evanston IL Real Estate report for March 2017 is available. We are going to compare notes on a 30-day period ending March 14 of 2017. As compared to the same time frame of one year ago. The basic overall picture shows much movement and a seller's market.Overall, we see a 2.6% change in new listings of all properties. A gain of 22.5% in closed sales. Evanston has 26.8% less inventory of all types of inventory, single-family homes and condos combined.Breaking it down further to the single family scene, new listings are down 5.6%. Under contract properties are up 8.5%. Closed sales of houses are down 33.3%. The average market time is down 14.6%.
