The Weather Was Beautiful & Sunny Today In Northern Idaho.  I Was Alerted By Phone That We Had A Visitor In Our Neighborhood And I Just Had To Get Out & See For Myself.  (With Camera In Hand, Of Course)!!Listening To The News Last Week, I heard That Fernan Is Trying To Relocate The Deer That Have Become A Nuisance To The Homeowners.  Me Personally... I Don't Get It.  Seeing Beautiful Wildlife Like This Majestic Moose Today And The Deer That Call Our Neighborhood Home Is One Of The Reasons We Relocated To North Idaho.

Today as I was running errands through our neighborhood (Hayden View Estates) I was marveling at how many deer were in the area.  Far more than normal and it was beautiful to see.I thought deer usually took "cover" on rainy days like today, but apparently they were enjoying the rain as much as I was.So here I am, having a fantastic day... on my way home & once again enjoying the presence of the wildlife that call our neighborhood home, when my heart is just broken in two.A beautiful fawn was laying dead on the side of the road.  Yes, the deer do run in the street.  Yes, it's part of nature.  However, we can all do our part to obey the posted speed limit (25 MPH) and do our best to keep an eye out for the neighbors walking their dogs, the children riding their bikes & the beautiful creat...
