Yesterday was my last day in Hawaii for a while. At least until next month, anyway. Usually my last days are spent preparing to depart. Recharging my Ring, which this time I could not get off my gate. Looks like I will have to drill that baby out as the screws are stripped. Such a fine line between "tight" and "never unscrewing again."I also write a couple of blog posts so I don't have to get out of bed at 3 AM Hawaii time in Sacramento to create my daily stuff. Due to real estate-related work, I didn't get done half the stuff I had planned to do until the following departure day. Because it was time to visit a couple more beaches. We are packing up the house as I type this morning. I'm heading back to Sacramento to pick up more listings, and my houseguests, Josh and Vika, are flying out to Kauai for another week. Their families are arriving in Kauai for more activities. I swear, those guys ran me ragged.Like yesterday, they were out all morning while I stayed on top of my real estate files and argued with Lowes about our home remodel. I had planned to write at least two blogs while they were gone but spent so much time on the phone with other agents and my sellers I didn't get to it. Well, at least I have my priorities in order. About 7 years ago I discovered that I could visit Hawaii and still sell real estate back home in Sacramento, meaning I did not have to be present in Sacramento to list or sell or close my sellers' homes. In fact, in some ways, I was even more focused, especially when I was on vacation by myself.Usually I spend 2 weeks to 6 weeks at a time in Hawaii.
