The annual Arthur Bacon / City of Smyrna golf tournament with the Mayor is a great way to mix business and fun. .   The two-day event will be held at Legacy Golf Links (1825 Windy Hill Rd.) on Saturday, May 3rd and Fox Creek Golf Club (1501 Windy Hill Rd.) on Sunday, May 4th.   There will be a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start each day. Groups will be paired with preferred partner requests. Individual handicaps will not be considered when scoring. Partners and assigned holes will remain the same on Saturday and Sunday. The lowest total two-day gross score for each flight (determined by the Saturday round at Legacy) will be declared the winner. As you’ll notice, the green bar is 2007 and we were selling a fair amount more homes in 2007. Sales dropped significantly in 2008, with the drop becoming more pronounced toward the last quarter of 2008. That would be the beginning of the financial meltdown. 2009 home sales started off about 32% off the level just two years previously in January 2007.
