So get your mind ready    1 If you are buying a foreclosure do not start ouot by thinking, "The bank should be happy to take..." The Bank is not happy to take. In fact as 2012 progressed we saw an increased amount of multiple offer situations on foreclosures. Many going for more than asking. Are there still great deals? Yes. In our North Georgia Mountains , especially on the Southern end of the Appalachians, fall colors peaked this week. It was a tough fall for leaf watching. The fixing of the Libor rate has been big news lately. But what does it mean to us? It means a lot. Lets start by stepping back and looking at the U.S. Banking system. Banks use the prime rate and the fed funds rate in order to lend to each other. The prime rate is also used to set rates that banks use commercially. Remember that in Banking the accounting system is reverse of what it is in business. So if you get money it is a credit and not a debit.
