The 2014 Oakhurst Wine Crawl in Decatur, GA will run from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and is one of our favorite events, probably because of the casual atmosphere and integration of many of the local businesses in the Oakhurst Village and along College Avenue.  At least two dozen businesses in Oakhurst will open their doors and serve wine from around the world. Oakhurst Decatur Real Estate Report for 2013This little firecracker neighborhood in the City of Decatur just keeps on selling!  After reviewing the 2013 sales statistics for Oakhurst GA, we discovered some very interesting information: AVERAGE SALES PRICE The average home sales price in Oakhurst up 10% from 2012 and more than $100,000 from the bottom of the market (2010)TIME ON MARKETWhen looking at how long it took to sell a home in Oakhurst GA, we found that 45% of the Oakhurst homes sold in less than 2 weeks - incredible!!!On average, Oakhurst homes tool 54 days to sell.  The numbers are a bit skewed because several builders were listing homes in MLS before they even broke ground on the new home.  Needless to say, that increased the average time to sell a home in Oakhurst.In 2013, ho... 01/18/2014

Looking for a way to enjoy the holiday, and especially the lights that many people decorage their homes with?  How about a FREE opportunity?  Christmas In The Grove - The Lights and Sounds of the Holidays Tucked away off of LaVista and Oak Grove Roads in the Oak Grove area of Atlanta you will find Christmas in The Grove. Started in 2010 by Tony and Katie Paradowski, the display has grown to include a light show that is choreographed to music.  The display is free, but the family has now started accepting donations to The ALS Association.  Get in the holiday spirit and check out this holiday display.
