Following the announcement made on Thusday, March 6th, WellStar Health Systems has put land under contract for a 127 acre Medical Campus to be located on Cedarcrest Rd & Seven Hills Blvd, the question became, how will this impact the county?  Expectations are that even though the state of Georgia may see a slight decline in real estate sales, the area around the project will likely see an increase from the 2007 sales.  Rumor has it that the Blue Collar salaries will range from $40k to $70, and the Executive salaries will range from $200 to over $700k a year, bringing the record median income even higher for that area.  I know that immediately following the announcement, I received a flood of calls for both my commercial and residential properites located on or off Cedarcrest Rd.   As a ...

As we all eagerly await spring there are a few things to do in the garden. This is the time of year to prune back your Crepe Myrtle and Butterfly bushes as they grow flowers on "new wood". Remember to sharpen and clean your tools beforehand. Do not however prune Azaleas or Rhododendrons but wait till after they finish blooming. Now is also a good time to start turning and amending your annual beds and turn your compost pile of leaves. Blue birds are looking to move back in their nest boxes. The Robins are back in full force and Sandhill Cranes have been seen going back north. All bright promises of spring. If you do not own a Garden call us, we can help you find one along with a home to go with it.  http://perryangel.georgiamls.com/Keith & Robin Perry Realtor®Phone:678-363-1901   Cell: 67...

We all love to sit by the fire on cold evenings. It not only brings warmth and a bit of magic into the home but a few dangers as well. When was the last time you cleaned out your chimney? Soot deposits can catch fire and blow back out of it if the soot scale is thick enough. You can buy a sweep brush at your local hardware store for around twenty dollars. It comes with attachable handles to reach the top and mine works well (about 20 minutes from start to cleaned up). There are also "clean-out logs that you burn to supposedly do the job but I have never used them. Here is a useful link http://www.csia.org/ Stay safe and warm this holiday season. Dont own a fireplace? We have a few homes with them at http://perryangel.georgiamls.com/

Last evening Robin attended a ribbon cutting event at a new home development. The event was near the pool area and she needed to walk through the clubhouse to get to the event. She had just arrived and was alone walking through the club house and somehow fell, breaking her wrist in a few places and hitting her head. A buyer who was looking at homes and decided to look at the club house found her and called for help. Thank you kind soul whomever you are. Surgery will be needed to repair her wrist so please keep us in your prayers.
