Tech Companies moving from California to S. Florida, RE/MAX Premier Team

A stem cell nutrition company from California completed its move to Pembroke Pines on Friday. Stemtech International moved its headquarters from San Clemente, Calif. to South Florida with promises to create about 90 jobs. The company struck a deal with the city and state for $615,000 in incentives, including $540,000 from the Qualified Target Industries program based on meeting its hiring targets and $75,000 in direct cash. The company pledged to pay an average salary of $65,849 and invest $1.35 million in its new facility at 2010 N.W. 150th Ave. The company sells products designed to boost adult stem cells. The products, which don’t contain actual stem cells, are considered nutritional supplements. It was founded in 2005 and named to Inc. Magazine’s list of 5,000 fastest growing privat...
