The difference between a realtor and a .com or flat fee realty  company is huge.  Here, I spell out the differences.  There are a lot of so called real estate companies out there right now trying to take advantage of the housing recovery by opening either .com businesses or flat fee do it yourself type services.  Let me be the first to tell you that as a realtor of 17 years in South Florida that these types of fly by night companies come and go as quickly as the market fluctuates and is simply here to take advantage of the market.  To me, they are nothing more than parasites, feeding on the consumers need to try and save a buck.
