The little rascal on the right is my Boston Terrier, Diesel Dog.  He likes to play - all the time!  While tossing around the tennis balls I decided to throw two of them at the same time and see which one he would select. How much house can $200,000 buy in Viera, Florida?  Most of the time buyers like to approach the home purchase process with "What can I get for $XXX in wherever?" I wanted to congratulate Dwight and  Alessandra on the purchase of their new home in the Master Planned Community of Viera, FL The home is 1900 sqft with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a bonus study and a large dining room and family room. The screened in Florida room on the back of the home overlooks both a small lake and a wooded area (so they have no rear neighbors). They are walking distance to one of the many community pools Viera has to offer. The schools in Viera are all "A" Rated Florida schools...perfect for a family. Dwight and Alessandra just relocated from Italy...so this is a big change! I hope they will love Florida as much as I do!

The housing market is finally in recovery mode. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reports existing home prices have been rising for 20 straight months and existing-home sales are at the highest pace since November 2009.  Home prices are seeing their strongest gains since 2006.  The combination of inventory shortages and increasing demand for new and existing homes has helped home values to rise up to the highest level in five years.
