Recently I received a call from customer wanting to list their Venice FL Home for Short Sale that was a 2nd home for them.  The sellers have one lender, Chase.  I discovered during our initial consultation that my sellers recently filed bankruptcy and their home mortgage was included in the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy but Chase was not awarded any payments from the courts.  Chase reached out to the sellers and offered them $10,000 to do a short sale and told them to seek out a Realtor to initiate a short sale.  I have heard before that Chase has an incentive program they offer to at risk homeowners that offers $10,000, $20,000 and $30,000 as incentive to the homeowner to proceed with a short sale.  My sellers search the internet and found me through one of my Active Rain blogs which is always... 07/23/2011
