Do you consider this as Spring color? Silky Oak (Grevillea robusta). This golden bronze or orange yellow color tree is Silky oak; the scientific name is Grevillea robusta. The bright outstanding color above the house attracted my attention, while I was on my way home after showing property yesterday.       The Silky oak tree is from Australia and is not related to an oak tree, also not usually classified as a flowering tree. Its wood grain is similar to oak, and is used in making furniture and paneling.       It is a fast growing tree in warm temperatures; it will reach 80 to 100 feet in height.
