Pass a grille was the first established town on barrier islands on Florida's west coast. It is a registered National Historic District. It is located on the south tip on St Pete Beach, starts right at the Don Cesar hotel. The name supposedly comes from fisherman. In the old days they would stop there and  "grill" their fish.Pass a gille always was and still is very unique.Take a stroll down 8th Ave and go to the beach for a wonderful sunset.Later on have a nice dinner at one of the restaurants.Enjoy the historic flair and romantic charm of this old little town. Like always,Go out and explore the neighborhood. For other fun things to do and more events please go tohttp://www.todayinstpete.com/

Beach Theater in St Pete Beach What a fun night !!! First we went to PJ's on St Pete beach for  my favorite oyster Chicago and than we went to Corey Ave,  the Astronomy club of St Petersburg had set up a few telescope, was fun to what the "blue" moon and Saturn. Than we went a few blocks east to the Beach Theater. This Saturday was special. I have never seen it that packed, everybody was in a good mood, people were talking to each other the band was setting their equipment. Everybody got a last drink before the show and than the lights went out and for 30 minutes we heard live tune all old Beatles song, it was great, everybody was in the Beatles concert mood.  St Pete Beach's Silver Anniversary I found myself on St Pete Beach with the boys and was reminded that St Pete Beach is actually celebrating a milestone - this is St Pete Beaches 50 Year Anniversary in 2007.St Pete Beach was beautiful today - sunny and warm and enjoyed by a wide variety of people.Alex, Sean, my sons and I actually took a little time off to build a  traditional "drip sandcastle" - Did you ever build them as a child? It was theraputic and fun to just relax with them and reflect on how lucky we are to live in Paradise all the time. I had my camera with me and took some shots to share Upham Beach with you. No matter where you are right now - Sit back, Turn on the speakers and take a moment to relax and enjoy our tour of St Pete Beach -Cyndee and Jack Haydon, Your Area Beac...
