I must admit I'm not much of a gardner. However, here in Port Charlotte Florida you can grow just about anything. Moreover, you can do it year round. From tropical fruit to tomatoes or maybe even strawberries and bananas you don't have to have a green thumb. Here's a picture of a bunch of bananas fhat we grew. Also here is a picture of another banana tree growing in this year. This new tree will bear fruit later on this year. Often, we make a lot of banana bread or give a bunch a way to the neighbors. The fact that you can grow tropical fruit here sets it apart from the northern climates. The supreme court is supposed to make a decision about healthcare sometime this week. In the meantime I think I'll just stick to growing healthy food. Maybe that will help. We love it here in Port Cha...
