On Tuesday, January 10, 2012, a group Green Realty Properties Realtors and our friends will be meeting at the office and then heading over to Green Wave Cafe for lunch.   I couldn’t believe my eyes this morning when I saw that tornados hit Plantation and Sunrise last night with 130mph winds! I’ve heard of tornados occasionally hitting Florida, but never this close to us and never this strong. Plantation and Sunrise are right in our backyard, so this is incredibly scary to me! We’re experienced hurricane preparers, but tornados are so sudden that I don’t think most South Floridians would know what to do if they were hit by one. Thank God no one was hurt, but there was a bunch of damage to homes, and I’m sure that these families don’t need the extra stress in this economic climate.
