Wall Springs Park in Palm Harbor Florida and the land around it was originally owned by Charles Wall. Mr. Wall purchased the land in 1884 and it remained in his family's possession until 1927, when it was sold to Mr. Harry Davis. The 210 acre park was used as a health spa and recreational area until the 1960's. In 1988 Pinellas County took over the land and has been adding to it ever since. A Living Statue at Palm Harbor Days in Palm Harbor-Florida The town of Palm Harbor in Pinellas County has several festivals throughout the year that we have been going to for many years. They close off the center of town and give it over to crafters, artists, and other vendors who are lined up and down the middle of the cobblestone roadway. It’s always a pleasant day out and you never know what you will see there.   The statue is a real person with a doll. I wasn't sure what the silver coating is that creates the look but it is very realistic. I had to wonder, of course, being who I am-if it was healthy for her to be covered in whatever it is. I had to share these photos of our local storks, which I took just this past week. I am always amazed at the wildlife that I find here in the Palm Harbor Area. In this photo you have two herons and two storks. I am not sure what that one is doing with his beak open like that, but they sure are patient when it comes to allowing people to take their photos! Celestial Circle Metaphysical Shop has opened in Old Downtown Palm Harbor Florida in what used to be Oak Trail Books. For the last 16 years, Lesley Klein has owned and operated both Oak Trail Books & The Witch's Brew, her wonderful coffee and ice cream shop. Lesley has decided to have a little less stress in her life and concentrate on the Witch's Brew, which has live music on the weekends! Gina Lawrence, the owner of Celestial Circle, has made some changes to the store and reduced the number of books that are sold. The shop offers unique gifts, candles, incense and some of the artistic creations of local artists. Meditation classes, psychic readings and various workshops are still being offered as well. This home was listed for $869,900 and sold for $730,000 after being on the market for 409 days.On the other end of this list was a 2 bedroom 2 bath bank owned home with 928 sq ft. that was listed for $60,000 and sold after being on the market for 86 days for $60,200. This home was originally listed at $1,700,000 and sold after 578 days on the market for $1,385,000.In the lower price range we bottom out at a 2 bedroom 1 bath home with 797 sq ft of living space that was bank owned. Sutherland Bayou Boat Ramp in Palm Harbor Florida is just off Alternate 19 in Palm Harbor, just south of Crystal Beach.
