My Cassia bush (more like a tree) blooms every October-November. I planted her because she attracts sulphur butterflies. They nectar and larval on cassia.  You do know that specific butterflies nectar or larval on specific plants, right? For instance, Monarchs love Butterfly Bushes but won't go near a cassia. Sulphurs love everything but especially cassias. I wonder if that's why Sulphurs are yellow.We bought this one when we moved to Timber Greens 8 years ago. And, the original plant cost $2.97 in it's 3 quart pot.  It was maybe 4-5 inches high.  Cassie (as we call her) has been cut down many times but always gives us a beautiful show. This is only part of her; she has much more on the right but it was raining and I wanted to catch as much as I could. Sunset Over The RiverLast night we attended a network meeting that combined 5 Chambers of Commerce at Catches Restaurant in Port Richey, FL. Which, BTW, was a fun and awesome meeting,  lots of people, some we knew and some were new to us. Seeing some of our old friends for the first time in ages was the best part, of course.We left just a moment or two before sunset, I took pictures on the outside deck of Catches but it wasn’t quite dark enough; so we stopped when we saw this breath-takingly beautiful sky on the road running along the Pithlachascotee River in New Port Richey.
