I recently had lunch at Pineda Crossing Bar and Grill.  Now I have driven by Pineda Crossing Bar and Grill several times and thought about stopping in. Last week I got my chance.  I went with two business associates for lunch.  The Pineda Crossing Bar and Grill advertises itself as “The Home of the Casual Gourmet”.  I would have to agree, good old fashioned comfort food with a more elegant twist is the only way that I can describe it.  You walk into the Pineda Crossing Bar and Grill and it is casual.  Not at all in a bad sort of way.  On the contrary, the dining room is cozy, and the day we went in, the place was hopping!  None-the-less we were quickly greeted by our pleasant waitress who promptly took our drink order and gave us menus.Now, the chef at Pineda Crossing Bar and Grill isR... 09/21/2014

  I never tire of spending time with my family, no matter what we're doing together. And, this weekend was no exception. We headed out to a rental house to get the exterior painted and the bushes trimmed.  In one day the 4 of us were able to pressure wash, prime and paint the exterior of the house. We also got the bushes trimmed back and hauled to the street. I love these girls! We have been working on houses since they were babies and I couldn't think of anyone else that can get in there and get the job done like these two! They are incredible workers! When Sam and Stephanie were little girls at the end of a day working on the houses they would both be covered, head to toe in paint.  If you can't have fun on the job, then it makes it too much like work.   09/09/2014

I saw the below on a Facebook for sale page.  Read it very closely..."Works great.  Has red line...but..."This reminds of many home sellers when it comes time to discuss their home's condition. There are problems.  But they have lived with them for a long time.The problems are not terminal problems but rather more like an annoying irritation that will either go away or become less noticeable. But the truth is while it may be an itch to the seller it can be a major (possibly terminal, as in deal killer) illness to a buyer. I just finished up an exterior repaint in Melbourne, Florida where we painted all of the stucco walls, stucco bands, exterior doors, did an exterior patio ceiling repair and also painted the window frames because the windows original finish was faded and chalky. After we pressure washed this Melbourne home, we applied a tinted sealer to all  surfaces of the home to be painted (due to chalkiness and also to assure good adhesion of the finish coats). Including the chalky metal window frames. Next, we repaired all of the hairline stucco cracks and also repaired the coner tape at the exterior drywall patio ceiling. Cheddar's Casual Cafe' is located on 1-92/New Haven Avenue in Melbourne. It is less than 5 minutes west of the Melbourne Square Mall. It is a popular spot. Each time that I have gone there is a waiting list to get seated. It's popularity seems to come from it's warm ambiance, the good sized portions for dinner, the large variety of foods and the affordable prices. It's unusual for me to walk out of Cheddar's without leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. The night we went I had the dinner portion Grilled Whitefish with lemon pepper seasoning over rice, broccoli and a loaded baked potato for $9.49. My friend had the Crispy Chicken Salad at $8.29. Melbourne is Centrally Located to Five Cruise Ship Ports We're so fortunate here in Melbourne on Florida's Space Coast.  We are within 3 hours of five different ports to head out on a cruise ship.  Port Canaveral is practically in our backyard, just 30 minutes away. For the past 7 years we have taken a Caribbean Cruise out of four of these ports.  We've haven't travelled out of Jacksonville yet.  We've enjoyed visiting some incredible destinations including ... Cozumel Mexico, Roatan Honduras, Nassau Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Belize, Virgin Islands, St. Martin and Puerto Rico just to name a few.  My favorite destination so far has to be Cozumel Mexico.
