I think we would all agree that the banks absolutely need to have a quicker response to shortsale offers. The response time could be shortened by ramping up their hiring in the loss mitigation department, possibly hiring part time realtors that know the business.  As soon as an offer is received a brokers price opinion or BPO needs to be ordered.  As soon as it comes in it needs to be weighed against the offer. Meanwhile someone from the department needs to make sure that all the shortsale required documents (seller financials, bank statements, paystubs are up to date and in their file.)  A fast response after quick review is vital in moving these shortsales and selling them before they become bank owned properties.  Faster response is needed in order to keep our buyers engaged and movi...
