PUBLIX ON FLEMING ISLAND IS REMODELING ~ FLEMING ISLAND FL Our Publix on Fleming Island is remodeling. Every night Monday through Thursday, the store closes at 9 PM. The store employees can be seen hurrying to unload the cases which will be replaced or refurbished during the night. This is expected to go on for the next couple of weeks. I tell people moving here that Publix is one of the nicest things about moving to Florida. Winner of more awards than I can name here, Publix is a joyful place to shop.
