                                                              Grab your wetsuit, the recent stormy weather in Northwest Florida shouldn't keep you indoors. When you run across a beautiful 1957 Chrevolet, well, you just have to stop, quick draw your trusty digital camera, and get the drop on the target!!  Is this a beauty!  Now, here's the best part.  The owner caught me dead to rights photographing his Chevy, and assessed me a charge of 25 cents.  So we struck up a conversation and this is what I learned.  As many of you know, many classic car owners keep their treasures in a special garage, protecting them from rain, sunlight, and of course, the worst of all, we the viewing public!  But not Frank Marstall,the owner of this classic '57 Chevy.  Frank, his wife, and their son make the pilgrimage to Destin, Florida, annually, all the way from Topeka, Kansas, and in this ride.  We'd like to hook the Marstall's up with a great real estate deal ... 10/21/2007

The Red Tide is upon us!  First I heard from a friend in Jacksonville that she was having a scratchy throat and some serious breathing problems, then to the west, in Houston, I heard about the same thing from family members, and new for the past few days, I am experiencing the same stinging, burning breathing problem they described.  Historically, the Red Tide kills a lot of fish, but just what is the source of the symptoms?  Wikipedia calls the Red Tide a phenomenon know as algal bloom. The phenomenon produces a neurotoxin called brevetoxin, which kills fish, birds, marine mammals and other organisms.  Let's hope it ends soon. 10/15/2007

These cars are so beautiful!  And the charity event was really worth while.  Hope you enjoy the pictures.  We had an absolutely beautiful day in Destin, and the turn out very good.  This was my first visit to a Porsche club show, but it will not be my last!  There were so many beautiful cars gathered together at one time, and the owners are all so passionate about the rides.  Many of the owners actually race their cars in serious race events.  I look forward to the next event!     10/14/2007

Now is the time to buy in and around Destin, Florida! Lots of inventory and sellers are getting real about pricing. Buyers that are not afraid of a "no" should make their offers now. Sellers that need to sell now are looking very seriously at offers. There is no relationship between asking price and sales/closed price.
