I find it fitting on Memorial Day to report on the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall which was in Clearwater Florida last week. The Tampa Bay Veteran's Alliance had a large celebration in Coachman Park and I found out about it when Ronnie came home and said he and his buddy Bob had stopped by to see the wall. They were looking for names of classmates from Clearwater High School who had died in Vietnam. I found these At the Fresh Market in Clearwater, Sugar Tree Peacharines. They are absolutely yummy and from California. They are a lovely combo of peaches and nectarines and Kingsburg Orchards says they are low-fuzz and they are. These are Sugar Tree Peacharines and Kingsburg says in order for them to get the Sugar Tree label; they must past the brix (sugar) level test, color, and overall taste tests at their plant-breeding nursery. All I know is: they sure are good; be sure to look for them. Cheddar's Casual Cafe on Roosevelt Blvd in Clearwater Florida was a great choice for lunch today. I had never been there before, so when my best friend suggested it, that is where we headed. I was not disappointed. We both had the salmon with broccoli and it was delicious! This is indeed one restaurant that I will visit again......great food and equally great prices! You can't beat that. If you are looking for a place with a wide variety of things on the menu and prices that don't break the bank, check out Cheddar's! Yes, you read it correctly! An adorable little spider monkey was having lunch at Panera in Clearwater on Saturday and I was able to get a few photos! My daughter, granddaughter and I were heading into Panera for lunch on Saturday when my daughter spotted the little guy having his lunch at one of the tables outside. Naturally, my granddaughter wanted to see the spider monkey! She was full of questions about what spider monkey's eat. This is another reason why my camera is always with me...you never know when you are going to need it! I managed to capture more than one little monkey at Panera with it yesterday! 04/29/2012

Clearwater Florida Market Report for March 2012 There are currently 369 single family homes for sale in Clearwater Florida. They range from a high of $5,995,000 for a 6788 sq ft waterfront pool home with a private boat dock located on Clearwater Harbor's intercoastal waterway to a small 581 sq ft home listed at $25,000. When we review the graph of single family homes that sold in Clearwater Florida since September 2011 (above), we see that the prices have held relatively stable. Turning to the category of townhomes, villas and condos, we find 417 properties currently on the market. They range from a high of $1,575,900 for a 3400 sq ft waterfront condo in Waters Edge on Clearwater Harbor to a low of $19,900 for a 600 sq ft short sale condo.
