Cape Coral has had it's struggles with monitor lizards, Sanibel has iguana lizards, Naples has the green parrots and now Bonita Springs has an iguana infestation.  In addition to Riverside Park, the Bonita Springs community of Sandy Hollow has seen more than it's share of the lizards.  Residents are calling the city and animal control by the number complaining of the beasts appetite for their landscape.  The green iguanas are vegetarian and seem to be particularly fond of hibiscus blossoms.The only answer the city has come up with thus far is to have the animals trapped and euthanized.  The city of Bonita Springs didn't commit to trapping the iguanas and has left it up to the individual homeowners to pay for the traps and trapper.The "domesticated" pet booms in the wild are a result of ...
