  Shot of the day:  Look who has just moved into Atlantis, Florida   We have a bit of a nature reserve in the back of our property. The canal is what draws most of the activity from egrets to raccoons. Our latest spotting was this afternoon when the boys came to feed around our bird feeder. On the other side of the canal while the sun was setting and somewhat dark, my wife spotted these little jewels. Upon seeing her it made me wonder why I haven’t seen her and the other female feeding together. Now I know why. Seeing new life gives hope for anything. Enjoy. 02/07/2013

  Monday 010713 Unique Shot of the Day in Atlantis, FL   It is a bird, it’s a plane it’s SMD (Super Muscovy Duck) on a limb. I have to admit to love living in such a place to witness nature at its best. These ducks which I have simply named, my boys visit us all day long, since I feed them and are attracted to my small bird feeder as well. When they are in flight and the sound they make is quite something to see similar to a small aircraft landing at the local airstrip.
