Market absorption for the month registered at 9.12 months, meaning it would take 9.12 months to sell off the present inventory pushing the Shelton market way up into a buyer's market again, the highest rate in many months.   Veterans Day will be observed on Monday, November 11, around the country.  In the past, this was usually a day off for schools; but in recent years, schools have been in session and most provide a meaningful program honoring veterans.  Better for the kids to attend a program honoring those who served our country than to participate in shopping mall veterans day sales frenzies.
