Tonight, 11-25-06 was the Parade of Lights in Pueblo, Colorado. A tradition that has been going on longer than anyone can remember. It starts on Colorado Blvd and Abriendo and traveled down to H.A.R.P. other wise known as the Historic Arkansas River Project. There were very few bands but lots and lots of floats. The Eagles to local Realtors decked out semi trucks, wreckers and flat beds. Every twinkle light in Pueblo must have been lined up on 73 floats to show off for the local crowd. Pueblo has been known for years and years as ‘Steel City'. The mill is  the root of the city and it's hard to miss when passing by on the freeway. There is a lot more to Pueblo than the mill, but it has had such an impact on the city and it's residence. My best answer is to call your local supplier of electricity. Aquila is required to furnish reversable meters upon request, Excel is not required. If you are on Excel,  Aquila MAY buy your Energy Credits. Yes, it is very possible to go completely off grid, but if the power company is required to buy your energy from you why would you want to be completely off grid? And what if you needed the extra power for some reason?
